We always welcome new patients into our practice and we will make every effort to provide you with superior dental care in a courteous, caring and professional manner. Should you decide to choose us as your personal dental team, this is what to expect when you arrive at our office:
- our treatment coordinator will meet with you to fill out some general information about yourself on your chart, including your address and telephone numbers and dental benefits information(please bring in your current benefits card and booklet, if applicable).* We will also review a medical history questionnaire with you, so please bring in a list of the names and dosages of any medications that you are presently taking
- we will take any x-rays that are necessary to provide you with an accurate diagnosis of dental treatment that you may require
- Dr. Crossman will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth and oral hard and soft tissues to check for tooth decay, gum disease and oral cancer and all findings will be recorded in your chart
- our treatment coordinator will review your treatment plan with you and, together, we can decide upon appointment scheduling and financial planning for your dental treatment
*Please note that any personal information that we collect about you is in compliance with PIPEDA(the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act)
If you have never been to see us before and are experiencing a problem with a specific tooth that you wish to have taken care of immediately, we will examine and treat only the area of concern at your initial visit. We can then schedule a complete oral examination for you at another time.
